BBC Scotland has ditched its regular weather presenters in favour of HRH The Prince of Wales. The heir to the throne will become a regular feature of BBC Scotland, presenting the weather every weekday at 6:55pm.
It’s the first of a wave of new royal appointments in service of the Met Office. From next Monday, Princess Anne will be the new weather presenter for BBC Look North, where it’s understood she will be moving to Hull on a long-term basis. And in Birmingham, Prince Edward will be the new weather presenter for BBC Midlands Today.
